Creating places for horses with green technologies for over 25 years, from international competition venues to private farms, we are moved by nature.  Our unique, quality equestrian sites are fully integrated as perpetual living components of their surrounding landscapes.

Completing Regenesis' Regenerative Design for Practitioners in 2025 is the latest in our long commitment to create measurable increased biodiversity with every design and small, consistent daily habits.

Graduated with Mention of Distinction from University of Guelph Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Souhaila Sarkis created Sarkis Equine Design in 1998. True to putting nature's living systems first,  while serving equine and human use, Sarkis led and participated in the creation of many equestrian, sport and tourism facilities in North America and Europe.

Conference speaker, consultant on urban and rural sites, and spearheading living architecture in the equestrian world, we are guided by our north star of regenerative design; in our mind boosting biodiversity of sites and natural systems connections. Operating from the expression "form follows function", and the belief that the function of a site is to create life,  our work integrates the desired use of the site and its living connections to its context, facilitated by positive human and equine impact.

Sarkis  works from a deep love for the true, positive symbiosis between people and nature.  For her, working with diverse teams on a global scale is what is most exciting, full of discovery and fun.

"The horse is not a conquest of man. It is his nature to accept 'what is' with nobility... Thanks to them I have received great personal satisfaction and felt closer to nature."
